Professional grade latex liquid admixture Description SBR LATEX ADMIX is a blend of latex (SBR – styrene butadiene rubber) emulsions and special chemical modifiers that have been specially formulated for the addition to Texrite’s dry-set mortars, grouts and underlayment systems. This admixture, when used in lieu of water, will significantly improve the bond strength and flexibility of mortar systems. In addition, it will increase a mortar’s internal adhesion, frost resistance, flexural strength and inhibits the penetration of water or other liquids.
